Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture supports your body's natural ability to heal, thrive, and feel well
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is the process of inserting and manipulating fine sterilized needles into specific points on the body to heal acute and chronic health issues, and is recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to be effective in the treatment of a wide variety of medical problems. It is a safe and effective way to manage both chronic and acute conditions.
INITIAL SESSIONS ARE 75 MINS LONG AND CONSIST OF :
Thorough intake of your health history - including a discussion of your main complaint and all relevant signs and symptoms, general diet and lifestyle habits, family health history, and medications.
Pulse and tongue diagnosis - practitioners of ancient China used palpation of the radial artery to diagnose patients, a practice which has continued to this day due to its clinical effectiveness. Tongue diagnosis includes an assessment of shape, color, moisture, and texture, and can be an indicator of internal disharmonies.
Treatment - you will be treated on your first visit, most likely with acupuncture, but other modalities may be used such as moxibustion, gua sha friction massage, Craniosacral manipulation, Tui Na style of Chinese bodywork, and/or Reiki energy therapy.
INITIAL SESSION - $175
FOLLOW UP SESSIONS ARE 60 MINS LONG AND CONSIST OF :
Evaluation - the previous treatment and its effects will be discussed to see how far you have progressed in the healing process.
Pulse and tongue diagnosis - these indicators change often, and can be used over and over again to monitor your progression within the healing process.
Treatment - you will be treated most likely with acupuncture, but other modalities may be used such as moxibustion, gua sha friction massage, Craniosacral manipulation, Tui Na style of Chinese bodywork, and/or Reiki energy therapy.

Pediatric Acupuncture & Integrative Care
PEDIATRIC TREATMENTS ARE THOUGHTFULLY TAILORED TO EACH CHILD’S NEEDS, COMFORT LEVEL & STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT.
Acupuncture needles are always optional, and many children—especially those under the age of 8—receive highly effective treatment without needles at all. At this tender age, care often centers around gentle, noninvasive therapies such as shonishin (Japanese pediatric therapy), tui na massage, craniosacral therapy, and moxibustion.
Sessions may also include acupressure, gentle bodywork, movement practices, dietary guidance, herbal recommendations, and supportive conversation. Our approach is designed to meet children where they are, creating a calm and collaborative environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Family participation and education are an essential part of treatment. Parents and caregivers can expect to learn practical tools, techniques, and simple home-care practices that help reinforce progress between visits and empower ongoing wellness at home.
Infants are welcome to receive treatment while nursing, bottle feeding, resting, or napping, allowing sessions to unfold in a way that feels natural and comforting for both child and caregiver.
60 MINUTES - $110
Please Note:
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments will incur a $75 fee.
